Cisco WS-C3560G-24TS-S Switch

Cisco WS-C3560G-24TS-S Switch

We love the WS-C3560G-24TS-S, and with all the features that this awesome offering from Cisco Systems’ Catalyst line provides, it’s obvious why. This 24 port Ethernet behemoth exceeds the capabilities of most switches on the market, yet at a cool 1.7 inch height, it fits right into a standard 1U desktop enclosure.
The WS-C3560G-24TS-S is one of or favorites because it’s got so many capabilities. Of course, this Cisco 3560G switch does the standard things you’d expect, like setup standard access layers and access control lists for small enterprises needing LAN access. On the other hand, this Cisco 3560 series switch includes a horde of specialty features that make it simple to deploy custom applications like wireless access or building management systems while taking advantage of 38.7 mpps forwarding performance.
In addition to 24 10/100/1000 Ethernet connections, the WS-C3560G-24TS-S includes 4 Gigabit Ethernet SFP transceivers. An internal MAC Address table of 12K entries means that networking multiple devices is simple, and full duplex capability means that outgoing data will never slow down incoming info.
Naturally, the WS-C3560G-24TS-S includes DHCP support, IP-routing, auto-negotiation and traffic shaping capabilities. The fact that the switch also supports multiple multicast snooping standards like MLD and IGMP ensures that data intensive applications like IPTV remain fast regardless of user load.
The WS-C3560G-24TS-S is compliant with a number of IEEE 802 standards, and it uses auto-sensing per device to ensure that networks inhabited by unique users and machines communicate fluidly. To further improve information routing, the switch supports multiple trunking and tree protocols.
128MB of Ram and 32MB of flash memory make it easy to custom manage your network via secure shell (SSH2), and a number of status indicators ensure that it’s simple to tell when things aren’t working properly. Finally, the Redundant Power Supply connection means that you never have to worry about your network going down when it’s running on one of our refurbished WS-C3560G-24TS-S switches.
